Down to the Wire

I have not posted here for a very long time! My friend has been asking me to update this blog for the longest time, and I keep putting it off. The reason is, I haven't been following my training programme.

There, I said it.

If I don't get on track this week, I won't make my training schedule for the Great North Run on the 13th of September. In an attempt to get myself motivated, I signed up to the Nike Women's 10km on the 21st of June.


It is now too late to sign up for the race because it is now full, so if you haven't signed up, it's too late! I'm going to be doing this with Yarn in the City, a friendly few knitting people who I have been getting closer to over the last few months.

So, I'm going to be adventurous and put a timeline in so that all of my dirty laundry is aired, so to speak. This is the schedule, then. Excuse the poor formatting, I'm running on low time!


So that's it. I will be faithful to the blog and to the running from now on. No More Muffins has become less about weight loss, and more about general fitness. The benefit has been I have lost 10 kg since January. Hurrah!
